Associate Attorney

Martson Law Offices is looking for an associate attorney with either transaction or litigation experience for our Carlisle office. Responsibilities include providing legal support to clients and shareholders.

Real Estate Paralegal

Martson Law Offices is seeking a real estate paralegal to join its expanding residential and commercial real estate department.  The individual in this position assists the supervising attorney with all aspects of real estate transactions from contract to closing and is responsible for initiating and driving the progression towards settlement.  Real estate paralegal experience is preferred, but not required.

Essential functions include:

  1. Handling client communications such as follow ups on scheduling, information and transaction updates
  2. Review of residential contracts and preparation of correspondence and settlement documents
  3. Interacting and communicating with clients, opposing parties, title companies and other involved parties on status of transactions, deadlines, etc.
  4. Maintaining spreadsheet with detailed ongoing status of transaction including date of receipt of deposit funds, date of entry of applicable court orders and closing dates
  5. Providing general administrative assistance to the supervising attorney.

Strong organizational skills required.  Candidates must be able to work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and be able to work concurrently on a variety of files and prioritize assignments.
